Services

Consultation

  • Consultations are by appointment only to ensure that the patients are promptly serviced and waiting time is reduced.

  • We accept appointments well in advance but reserve some slots for patients in need of seeing the doctor on the same day, allowing for those unexpected events.

  • The average time allocated for each consultation is 15 minutes, except for minor procedures, ultrasound examinations, and insurance medical examinations.

  • Patients therefore need to give the staff at reception some idea as to why they want to see the doctor in order for staff to properly allocate time slots.

  • Also, the cost of consultations is determined by the service required and differs from patient to patient.

  • New patients are required to report to reception about 20 minutes before the appointment to complete the required and mandatory documentation and verification process to be completed by staff members.

Special Investigations

  • Our practice provides the following on-site investigations, and some investigations may carry an additional cost. This will be discussed with patients upfront as per the requirement of the ethical rules of the HPCSA.

  1. Random blood glucose measurement
  2. Random blood cholesterol measurement
  3. Haemoglobin estimate
  4. Urinalysis
  5. Resting 12-lead ECG
  6. Lung function tests
  7. Ultrasound examinations
